The cards above are the trades we book most often. In practice we cover every seaport in Africa — West, Central, Southern and East — and we also run shipments to South America, Europe, Russia and the Middle East. If your destination is a port, send it to us and we will price the routing.
How Transit Time Is Calculated
A quoted transit is port to port. It does not include the inland leg to the loading port, export clearance, transhipment dwell, destination clearance or inland delivery. Buyers who plan on the port-to-port figure are always the ones who are surprised.
| Leg | Who handles it | Typical drivers of delay |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier to loading port | Origin trucking | Distance, holiday closures, vehicle readiness |
| Export clearance and terminal | Us | Inspection, cut-off, documentation |
| Ocean carriage | Carrier | Transhipment, weather, port congestion |
| Destination clearance | Consignee’s broker | Permits, valuation, inspection, unpaid duties |
| Port to final delivery | Consignee | Truck availability, distance, permits |
Pre-Booking Route Verification
- Whether a direct service exists or the shipment tranships, and where
- Which loading methods the discharge port can actually handle
- Seasonal factors: monsoon, cyclone season, Ramadan, Chinese public holidays
- Berth congestion at the discharge port at the expected time of arrival
- Whether the consignee’s documents and permits will be ready before arrival

If your destination is not here, send it anyway — most ports are reachable through a transhipment hub.
